The Picker’s Hut was designed to capture the essence of the natural landscape - huge windows in every room provide a panoramic view of the vineyard and the valley. The north-facing location and a huge outdoor deck capture the beautiful all-day sun. You can sit at the breakfast bar and admire the vines, or you can perch on the deck, admire the unique landscape of the valley and see if you can spot the farm workers herding sheep or ploughing paddocks.

The Picker’s Hut is uniquely situated on the site of a working farm and vineyard, feel free to wander through the vines to have a look at our Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay varieties. You can also enjoy a picnic amongst the vines or simply sit on the deck and admire the view.

The Jones Family have farmed the region for seven generations, and currently the site of the hut is also used to farm Merino sheep and a variety of crops. It is a truly spectacular setting to kick back and enjoy the very best of the Jordan Valley – Tasmania’s hidden gem.
